fahim.reza.arko@g.bracu.ac.bdProfile
I am an undergraduate student in physics at BRAC University. Currently, I am working on warped compactifications in supergravity, time-dependent backgrounds in string theory, and early-universe cosmology.
Current research
My current research is focused on warped compactification in supergravity, the role of negative-tension sources in compact internal spaces, and time-dependent backgrounds in string theory and early-universe cosmology.
Education
BSc in Physics, BRAC University (Expected Year of Graduation: May, 2027). Saint Joseph Higher Secondary School
Research Experience
Undergraduate Research Assistant, BRAC University (December 2025 - Present). Worked on “Time Dependent Backgrounds in String Theory and Early Universe Cosmology.” Research Intern, ICTP Physics Without Frontiers: Physics for Bangladesh (July - October 2025). Studied time-dependent backgrounds in string theory, differential forms, variational methods, and nonlinear differential equations.
Skills
Theoretical physics; string theory and supergravity; differential geometry and differential forms; variational methods; Python; Mathematica; LaTeX.
Selected Achievements
Undergraduate Research Assistant on a BRAC University Research Seed Grant project (Grant ID: BRACURSGI25014).
Other information
Undergraduate thesis supervisor: Dr. Ratul Mahanta, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei., Prof. Mahbub Majumdar, Dean, School of Data & Computational Sciences, BRAC University, Bangladesh.
Outreach Activities
Beyond research, I am interested in photography, traveling, and spending time playing and spectating basketball.
